Our intrepid work party and lighthouse closing teams went out to Patos Island last weekend to close up the lighthouse for the coming winter. I always think of our beloved lighthouse closing her eyes for a long winter’s rest. For 123 years now, she has experienced winter winds and occasional snows.
Rest little lighthouse and we’ll see you again in the spring next year!
